Terms & Policies

Hatching eggs are a living, biological product and cannot be insured by carriers. Once a parcel leaves the farm, all risk transfers to the buyer. This includes breakage, loss, lost parcels, delay, temperature exposure, and any carrier handling issues. No refunds, replacements, or credits. All hatching egg sales are final.

Cold weather

Eggs can freeze in transit. An optional insulated container is available to reduce risk; choosing standard packaging means accepting seasonal risk.

Pre-orders/cancellations

We understand circumstances can change. If you wish to cancel a pre-order. The order may be cancelled providing you have not received a processing email. This will incur a$35 cancellation fee. Regular order do not receive a processing fee as the orders placed from the available egg section to ship out the following Monday or Tuesday are not cancellable. Chick orders are non cancellable. 

We use reputable third-party shipping platforms and carriers; carrier selection may change to get your box to you faster. Buyer must be available to receive the parcel (with or without signature). Parcels left outside are at the buyer’s risk. We do not reship for missed delivery, damage in transit, or delays. Address & Contact Details Providing a correct address and email is the buyer’s responsibility. Carriers may return parcels they flag as incorrect. Returned parcels cannot be re-shipped (eggs are time-sensitive). Any return fees billed to the farm may be charged to the buyer. Orders placed with temporary/throwaway emails may be cancelled (vital updates and tracking require a working email).

The farm no longer allows for order changes. If you would like additional eggs, a new order will have to be placed and shipping due. There is a min. 6 poultry eggs per each order. Shipping is not refundable or combined with orders already set for shipment. 

Fertility, Hatchability & Genetics

Eggs are shipped fresh and fertile, however due to many variables No guarantees are made regarding fertility, hatch rates, or specific genetic outcomes/traits. Results vary with handling, incubation settings, environment, and nature. 

The farm cannot guarantee the fertility rate or hatch rate of your purchased hatching eggs. Results can be from 0% to 100%. When you purchase eggs from the farm, you agree to these terms and there are no exceptions. Purchasing eggs does not mean purchasing chicks. It is a chance to hatch, not a guarantee. Packing is done as best as possible to ensure the safety and viability of the eggs, however, eggs can still break in transit or air cells may be disrupted. It is up to the customer to handle the eggs in the most appropriate manner for the best outcome. Before shipment, all eggs are candled to ensure there is no cracks for your best possible chance. 

If you are purchasing stock for breeding purposes and hatch or receive any birds that have incorrect traits, you should be expected to cull as required. No refunds are given for chicks that hatch with incorrect traits. As with any breeding program you should expect to make selections whether its from your own hatching eggs or purchased eggs. You can expect our bird to reflect the main attributes of the breed, however, we cannot guarantee show quality or perfection. We cannot guarantee genetic throwbacks from previous breeding. Lineages will and do carry many genes that may surface at any time. If you wish to work on stock, you may do so just like we would by culling traits that are not desirable.

Min purchase

There is a minimum poultry egg purchase of 6 eggs. This is non negotiable. Any orders placed with 5 poultry eggs or less will be cancelled. 

Parcel Shipments

The farm cannot guarantee an external service timeline such as shipping services. If your express parcel states a specific timeline, we cannot refund or credit any late received parcels. You may go ahead and incubate your eggs as usual once received and be sure to let them rest. We already offer discounted shipping rates and any requests for refunds will be denied.  There is no insurance available from any carrier for eggs. Lost parcels, broken eggs are not insurable. It is customer's risk to purchase eggs through the mail. We do not compensate, re-ship, credit or refund for ANY mishaps during or after transit. Once the eggs leave the farm hands, all responsibility transfers to the customer. Please note that part of the shipping charge includes labour which includes special handling and storing for a delicate product, very careful packing and preparation, fuel cost (for some carriers) to the depot, packaging costs which includes boxes and some materials. 

If you do not pick up your package from the Carrier depot or Canada post depot or anyrefusal to pick up in a timely manner, we do not replace, reship, refund or credit. Refusing the package due to wet or broken eggs is also included. If you send the package back under any circumstance, that is at your own loss and we may choose not to allow further sales in the future to you and a fee may be incurred to cover the cost of the package being returned. 

If the tracking states the package is delivered and you email that it was not, we do not reship, refund or credit. If the package was stolen, it is not our responsibility to replace it as we can also not prove what happened to the package once it was delivered. We suggest you have it delivered to a secure area instead. 

Photos and Information

All photos on this website is property of Breezy Bird Farms and no permission is given to use any photos for any reason. Any posted information or descriptions are non transferable and sole property of Breezy Bird Farms. 

Biosecurity & Final Sale

To protect flock health, all products are final sale. No farm tours or public access to the breeding facility.

Right to Refuse / Fraud Prevention

We may refuse or cancel orders at our discretion (policy violations, biosecurity concerns, suspected fraud, or other reasons aligned with farm values).

Intellectual Property Site content and imagery are the property of Breezy Bird Farms. Do not copy or reuse without written permission. Website Use & Changes This site and its materials are provided “as is.” Policies may be updated at any time by posting revised terms here.

Governing Law These terms are governed by the laws of Manitoba, Canada. Venue and jurisdiction: Manitoba, Canada.
